Marte Bernaerts

Marte is a young researcher who recently graduated from the MSc Culture and Conflict in a Global Europe at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Throughout her studies, she specialised in European studies, (European) cultural policy, external relations and foreign policy, opera studies, theatre and performance studies, philosophy and political science. Her profoundly interdisciplinary research focuses on the interactions between narratives of nationalism and cosmopolitanism in the performing arts and how they contribute to (cultural) diplomacy.
