José Gigante

José Gigante is a sports consultant and expert in sports diplomacy, who has worked with many international organisations.

José has worked with the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) where he worked on London 2012, Rio 2016 and Sochi 2014, and the World Academy of Sport (WAoS) where he worked with the IPC, FIBA and other international sports federations. He has expertise in business development and innovation projects, especially urban and women’s sport, in planning, promoting and delivering events with a focus on inclusion, and in sports diplomacy where he provides governments and municipalities with sports diplomacy strategies, as well as matchmaking and connections with major events.
