Dr. Rowan Jackson

Rowan Jackson is a University Teacher in Environmental Sustainability and the Director of the Environmental Sustainability MSc programme at the University of Edinburgh. Rowan is an active researcher focusing on long-term human-environment interactions, including adaptation to climate change. His research primarily focuses on climate change and human adaptation in the North Atlantic region and the impacts of climate change on cultural heritage in the North Atlantic and Low- and Middle-Income Countries. Focus on the interface between research and policy impact is at the centre of Rowan’s work on climate change adaptation and international cultural heritage.
